CaDalog - Illustrated Electronic Parts Catalog on CD
CaDalog is a Windows-based Electronic Parts Catalog. It contains complete catalogs of one manufacturer, adjusted for easy access and linked to a parts information database.
CaDalog is designed for the parts manufacturer that requires a fully computerized catalog, or for a software house that creates a dealers management system. CaDalog is a customized product, and the customer is in charge of supplying the manufacturer catalogs.
CaDalog uses a graphic interface and displays scanned pages (books or microfiche) taken directly from the car manufacturer's catalogs.
Icons, menus and hyperlinks are added to allow easy navigation and search, for the purpose of finding and building a list of catalog numbers with their prices. This list can then be printed or exported for usage by another application.
Manufacturer labor-time database integration is an optional feature.
The product was originally developed for German Ford models, as a complementary and integrated product to Ford's dealers management system.
A current CaDalog product is integrated in a German Suzuki dealers chain management system by a domestic software house.
