The MultiTrader solution offers both flexibility and scalability. When implementing interfaces to MultiTrader services, each business can decide the manner of use, and choose the options most suitable to its needs.
Suppliers retain complete control over their stock information and accessibility. The MultiTrader query service provides transparency of suppliers' stock information.
Existing business connections and supply chain structures are preserved. Suppliers may retain all terms of actual trade agreements with buyers (different prices for different buyers or buyer groups, buyer and/or item dependent discount rates, etc).
MultiTrader Service Infrastructure
Auto3P provides two basic services, which constitute the core of any business transaction involving vehicle parts:
MultiCat & MultiPrice servers provide access to the MultiCat electronic OE parts catalog and are capable of handling numerous queries simultaneously. They enable fast and accurate catalog number identification, and offer a wide range of part prices.
The MultiTrader server supports all electronic trade activities. It manages supplier and buyer lists, enables commercial stock information updates, handles price queries and price quotes, receives purchase orders from buyers and transfers them to suppliers and provides purchase-order status reports.
The services are integrated and complementary, yet may be utilized separately. The services are easy to implement. Their use requires minimal changes in the established work routine of the business.
Commercial data management is at its optimal; price and stock information is continuously updated. Electronic data exchange is performed almost instantaneously in a secure environment.
The task of coordinating connection to and between servers (access priorities and authorizations) is handled by a local server manager, monitored by the domestic Auto3P company. The servers are set up at the most convenient Internet Junctions, ensuring high performance, rapid response to requests, and speedy information updates.
Any computerized system implementing the appropriate interface may access the MultiTrader services as client applications (TCP/IP standard access protocol).
Data transfer between clients and the Auto3P servers is handled exclusively through XML. This insures compatibility of data received from various sources and implements the dialog between the various clients through the MultiTrader server.
Internet web sites providing B2C (business to consumer) trade facilities (online parts stores) by implementing interfaces to MultiTrader are also accessing the services as clients. Data exchange between the web site and the servers is handled by XML, whereas Internet surfers access the site and benefit from MultiTrader services through their regular Internet browser, using HTML.
